Projekt 2014: Jura-Höhenweg: Dielsdorf - Nyon

Am Freitag dem 28. Februar 2014 erhielt ich wie schon oft ein eMail über einen neu publizierten Cache in meinem Beobachtungsgebiet, einem Multi:

• Jura-Höhenweg Teil 1

Und wie eigentlich immer schaute ich mal kurz um was es da genau geht:

• Einen Multi über 26 Stages vor dem Final
• von Stage 1 bis zur Finale Box sind es rund 160 km zu Fuss, 7450 Höhenmeter Aufstieg und 6590 Höhenmeter Abstieg
• Startpunkt ist in Dielsdorf, Ziel ist auf der Passhöhe Vue des Alpes oberhalb von Neuenburg
• Und es wird, so wie's tönt, noch einen Teil 2 geben, der geht dann nochmals über eine ähnliche Distanz von 150 km und ähnliche Höhenmeter von der Passhöhe Vue des Alpes bis nach Nyon am Genfersee, kurz vor Genf selbst.

Unser Interesse war sofort geweckt und wir machten uns an eine genauere Analyse: was genau, wo genau, wie lange geht das, was hat's sonst noch an machbaren Caches direkt an diesem Jura-Höhenweg.... und was sonst noch so alles nötig ist.

Ich denke, wir haben unser Projekt für diese Wandersaison gefunden.

Friday the 28th February 2014 I received as already many times an email about the publication of a new cache in my survey area, a multi cache (cache itself german only):

• Jura-Höhenweg Teil 1

And as a I do normally I went into the cache listing to check the details:

• It's a multi cache with 26 stages before the final
• the distance to walk between stage 1 and the final is about 160 km and we're talking about 7450 meters to climb and 6590 meter to descend
• the start is in Dielsdorf near Zürich and the final is on the pass Vue des Alpes above Neuenburg/Neuchatel
• And there will be, as it sounds, a second multi (Teil 2) with a similar distance and similar hight meters starting on the pass Vue des Alpes and finishing in Nyon, near Geneva

The cache definitely got our interest and we started to analyse it further: what exactly, where exactly, how long exactly, what other caches are on the way.... and other things necessary before running off to log the cache.

I definitely think we found the project for this walking season.
