Tour Bericht:

Genau um neun Uhr kamen wir in Brugg an und legten los. Das Wetter war prächtig, wegen der Bise aber eher kalt: in der Sonne ohne Wind war's recht warm, im Schatten und am Wind war's noch empfindlich kühl.
Kaum hat man die Aare überquert geht's in die Höhe. Die Wanderwegmarkierung (denke mal, wir haben nichts verpasst) macht einen kurzen Umweg, zuerst nach Osten und in die Höhe, dann wieder nach Westen, dafür aber muss man nicht so lange der Hauptstrasse (Baslerstrasse) entlang wandern und kommt an einem Cache mehr vorbei.
Von ca 350 m.ü.Meer geht's auf gut ausgebauten Wanderwegen konstant nach oben, bis ca 722 m.ü.M (Linnerberg), danach geht's wieder ein wenig nach unten, dann wieder nach oben, aber alles ohne wirklich stressig oder steil zu sein. Das Ziel ist auf ungefähr 660 m.ü.M.
Die Route ist abwechslungsreich, mal auf etwas breiteren Wegen, dann wieder auf schmaleren, mal über Kulturland, dann wieder im Wald. Immer wieder wird der Blick freigegeben auf das Umfeld, vom Linnerberg sieht man schön in Richtung Lenzburg und Aarau, aber nicht nur die Ferne mag zu begeistern, sondern auch die nahe Umgebung ist absolut sehenswert.
Für den Hauptgrund dieser Wanderung, den Jura-Höhenweg Teil 1, waren heute drei Zahlen einzusammeln, allesamt klar und eindeutig.
Die Wanderwegtafel auf der Staffelegg klärte uns am Schluss schon mal über die nächste Etappe auf: Weissenstein 5h 50 min.... wir freuen uns schon.

Tour report

Exactly at 9am we arrived in Brugg and started todays tour. The weather war marvelous, just sort of cold due to the heavy wind blowing, but we do not complain at all.
As soon as we crossed the river Aare it went uphill. The signs for the trail were sort of different to hat we've prepared, creating a little bit longer trail (but less walking along the mainstreet 'Baslerstrasse') and guided us passing by an additional Cache we haven't even planned for.
It started at a hight of about 350 m.a.Sea and climbed constantly up to 722 m.a.Sea (Linnerberg), after that it went down a few meters and up again, but all withoug being to stressy or noticable. The final point (Staffelegg) is at around 660 m.a.Sea.
The trail follows most of the time quite wide tracks but is nevertheless quite diversified, it goes over cultivated land, then again through forests. You have a great view (Linnerberg) towards Lenzburg and Aarau, but is has to be mentioned that the view in the nearer topology isn't less interesting either.
For the main aim of this jorney, Jura-Höhenweg Teil 1, we had to collect three numbers today, all quite obvious and collectable without any doubts. At the end of the day on the Staffelegg, the guide post instructed us about the next stage: Weissenstein 5h 50 min.... we're already looking forward to it.
